A. Draft Day is when you draft your own unique team. It is commonly accepted as being the best day of the year. It consists of 16 rounds of picks and progresses turn by turn with each manager in the league picking one player per turn.

All managers in the league will be notified by email when Unique 11 starts and when it is their each of their draft picks.
A. Unique 11 format means that once you pick a player you will exclusively own that player and they will only score points for you each week. So once a player is drafted he cannot be chosen by another team in your league.
A. By default each league's Draft Day is set to the first weekend before the season starts. However the League Commish can change this date if it suits the league better.

But don't worry your draft will not start automatically causing anyone to miss it. It will be up to the League Commish to manually start Unique 11 once they are happy everyone is ready.
A. If you know you can't attend, you should let your League Commish know and start to build your auto-pick shortlist. The League Commish will take your turn on your behalf. Priority will be given to players on your auto-pick list but when this list is exhaustated players will be randomly drafted.

If the majority of your league cannot make your Draft Day then you should consider running an Automatic Draft.
A. If you're not online for your draft a player will be picked for you automatically. The player picked for you is the highest priority player in your shortlist list that can fit into your squad. You can add players to your shortlist and change the priority at any point before and during your draft.

If your auto-pick shortlist is empty, or no player can be picked from your shortlist due to squad constraints or because they have already been drafted, a player will be randomly picked for you.
A. No, there will be no restrictions whatsoever on how many players you can have from any one club. In theory you could select your entire team from Chelsea but good luck in trying to do so. Due to the competitive nature of Unique 11, you'll do well to pick a squad of 16 guaranteed starters let alone an entire team from one of the top clubs.

However all teams must draft 16 players of which 2 of these players MUST be goalkeepers.
A. There is no time limit on your draft pick but try not to take the p*ss - this is a sure fire way to annoy your fellow managers! But don't worry you'll be notified by email each time its your turn to make a draft pick.

However if a manager cannot make their draft pick or is taking far too long, the League Commish will be able to force their draft pick via the Admin Draft Board.
A. This option should be selected when the majority of managers in your league can't make Draft Day. It's also a good option when you want a quick draft or you're just feeling a bit risky.

Even though a draft date/time is set, the automatic draft will not start until the League Commish confirms. Draft picks will be taken automatically from each team's auto-pick list before being chosen randomly once the shortlist has been exhausted.

So make sure to build an extensive shortlist or run the risk of ending up with Watford's strike force.
A. This is what Draft Day is all about - get together with your mates and have a manual draft. This is perfect when time is not an issue and you want to enjoy the full draft experience.

The manual draft will start when the League Commish confirms everyone is ready. Each manager will be notified by email when its their turn so they can login to make their draft pick.

If a manager has had a last minute crisis and can't make it or if they're just taking too damn long, the League Commish can simulate their draft pick either automatically or manually.

The manual draft won't give you the excuse of automated random picks so I'm afraid you'll just have to blame your own scouting abilities when you end up with Kyle Lafferty up front.
A. Snake Draft Ordering is when the order of picks is reversed every round.

This means that whoever picked first in the 1st round, will pick last in the 2nd round and first again in the 3rd round and so on. Whoever was last to pick in the 1st round will pick first in the 2nd round.

By default leagues will be set to Snake Draft Ordering but the League Commish can change it to Random Generated Ordering in the "League Settings" page.
A. Random Generated Ordering is when the order of picks is randomly generated for every round

This means that each team will have 16 equal opportunities to have first pick. However it also means teams will be equally likely to end up with last pick each round.

By default leagues will be set to Snake Draft Ordering but the League Commish can change it to Random Generated Ordering in the "League Settings" page.
A. No, in the interest of fair play each user may only enter one team per account. However you are welcome to create a new team with a seperate account.
A. Navigate to Manage Team, click 'Edit' then simply hide/unhide the players that you want in your starting lineup. Make sure to save your changes before you logout!
A. No, I'm afraid you are stuck with the team you drafted until after gameweek 1 has finished. We feel it's only fair you play at least one match with the bad decisions you made on Draft Day.
A. You can play in any legal formation, providing ONE goalkeeper, at least THREE defenders and at least ONE forward are selected at all times.
A. Any changes you make (starting lineup, transfers, captaincy changes) to your team, can only be made before the gameweek deadline. If the gameweek is closed you will not be able to make any changes until the next gameweek is open.
A. They will score 0 points. There are no automatic substitutions so make sure you do your research before selecting your starting lineup!
A. During the season, your players will score game-points based on their performances in the Premier League.

The game-points are allocated based on a number of player statistics. The allocation of points is explained in the rules.
A. We endeavour to update player points as soon after matches have finished as is possible. This will include any bonus points awarded.

The doubling of points for Captains and Vice Captains takes place automatically in real time. If your Vice Captain plays before your Captain then his points are doubled. However these points will be adjusted if your Captain then plays.
A. Transfer points are deducted from your total if you make more than one Transfer in the same gameweek, as explained in the rules.
A. Once the points have all been updated for the gameweek, no further adjustments to points will be made.
A. Any players playing twice will earn two sets of points, assuming that the player plays in both fixtures.

Any team captains playing in two fixtures will also earn double points for each match that he plays in.
A. The league tables are updated as each gameweek is locked and the new gameweek is opened.

Teams will be awarded 3, 1 or 0 points depending on the result of their head-to-head fixtures.
A. Transfers allow you to replace one player in your team for a free agent. Transfers can only be made for those free agents available in your league.

Each team can make ONE transfer each gameweek without any point deduction. Each additional transfer will deduct 3 game-points for that gameweek.

Transfers will operate using a waiver wire system in conjunction with a recurring transfer window that will run every day during the gameweek up until the night before the gameweek deadline. During this time you can make transfer bids on any free agents.
A. To make a transfer you should navigate to the Transfer Centre.

From here you can browse the list of available free agents. A manager must indicate their interest in signing a free agent by making a transfer bid during the transfer window. If the transfer bid is successful then the free agent will be transfered and the manager will be notified by email.
A. The waiver wire system gives everyone a fair chance of picking up players from the free agent pool.

If only one manager makes a transfer bid on a player then the transfer will simply go ahead. However if more than one manager makes a transfer bid then the manager highest on the waiver wire will get priority.

If a team successfully has a transfer bid accepted, they will drop to the bottom of the waiver wire for the next transfer window. Teams will maintain their position on the waiver wire if they do not make a transfer bid or if their transfer bid is unsuccessful.
A. The transfer window will close at 22.00 GMT each evening for transfer bids to be pocessed. The next transfer window will reopen the following morning at 07.00 GMT.
A. Yes but if you make multiple transfer bids, the one you make first will be processed first. You should also keep in mind that you will drop to the bottom of the waiver wire after each successful transfer bid.

Your first transfer each gameweek will be free but each additional transfer in a gameweek will cost you 3 game-points.
A. During the January transfer window new arrivals to the Premier League will be added to the free agent pool on a weekly basis and become available for transfer at the beginning of the next gameweek.
A. Only current Premier League players can score you points so the best advice is to cut your losses and replace this player with a free agent by making a transfer bid.
A. A trade is an agreement between two managers to exchange a player(s) between their respective teams. Trades can only be made between teams in the same league.

There is no restriction on the number of trades that can be made each gameweek or indeed throughout the season.
A. To make a trade navigate to the Transfer Centre.

From here you can browse the players from each of your opponent's teams. Select the player you wish to bring into your team, followed by the player that you wish to replace. Once you are happy click on 'Make Trade' to make the trade request.

The request is sent to the team in question where the manager can accept or reject the trade offer. If the trade is accepted then it is sent for approval by your League Commissioner. The players will exchange teams only once the League Commish approves the trade.
A. The most likely reason is that the other team involved in the trade rejected your trade offer.

Alternatively, your League Commish may have deemed the trade to be unsporting and subsequently rejected the trade request.
